The magazine was first published in 1984, is based at central missouri in the US. Small Farm Today Magazine targets readers who are generally part time farmers or small agriculturalists who are marketing & selling their products directly, so this magazine is a boon for them. 12 page news-letter was commenced with 40 subscribers, in the short span of time, the news-letter evolved into a full size magazine. In 1992, the magazine grew popular as Small Farm Today that is bi-monthly magazine with saddle stitch and possesses over 12000 subscribers. The chief focus of the magazine is on how to grow, raise, market, and build the farming business with the articles with regard to small farmers who attain success by the virtue of diversification, specialty, bio genetic crops, and live stocks.
