Aniseed oil is used as a blend with other aniseed essential oils for its medicinal properties.

The spices is processed, cleaned and used in a number of food products for seasoning including cakes, candy, cheese, cookies, breads, pickles, stews, fish and shellfish etc.
 
Medicinal Use
Aniseed essential oil derived from Anise is said to cure flatulence and colic. It is also said to increase lactation in nursing mothers.
