• This variety of rice takes 110-120 days to grow.
• It is grown in upland irrigated or rainfed areas.
• The plant is small (85-90 cm).
• The grain is long slender and white.
• It is resistant to lodging, moderately resistant to bacterial leaf blight, green leaf hopper and stem borer.
• Its yield is 45-50 quintals/hactare.
• It is grown in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jammu & Kashmir.
