• The scientific name of this rice is IET-6141.
• It is grown in both the season : Kharif and Rabi.
• It takes about 125-130 days to grow in Kharif season and 155-160 days in rabi season.
• It is grown in medium land/ alluvial coastal soils.
• The plant height is dwarf (85-90 cm).
• The grain is long slender, moderately resistant to brown spot and blast.
• Its yield is 45 quintals/hactare.
• It is grown in West Bengal.
