• It is moderately resistant to blast, brown spot, and bacterial leaf streak.
• Its yield is 40-55 quintals/hactare.
• It is best grown in Orissa, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala.
