This variety of rice was notified in 1976. It is mainly grown in the irrigated areas of Gujrat. There are 3 main varieties of Guar Rice. These are :
Guar-10

This variety takes about 120 days to grow.

The plant height is semi dwarf (95 cm).

The grain is long slender.

It is susceptible to blast.

Its yield is 50-52 quintals/hectare.
Guar-11

This variety takes about 125 days to grow.

The plant height is semi dwarf (95 cm)

The grain is medium slender.

It is susceptible to blast.

Its yield is 50-55 quintals/hectare.
Guar-100

This variety takes about 130 days to grow.

The plant height is semi dwarf (110 cm).

The grain is medium slender.

It is susceptible to blast.

Its yield is 50-55 quintals/hectare.
