• This paddy variety takes about 105 days to grow.
• It is grown in irrigated areas.
• The plant size is semi dwarf ( 95 cm ).
• The grain is short bold.
• It is resistant to leaf yellowing brown spot, blast, brown plant hopper, green leaf hopper and moderately resistant to bacterial leaf blight, rice tungru virus, gall midge and leaf hopper.
• Its yield is 63 quintals/hectare.
• It is grown in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andhra Pradesh.
