World Sustainable Agricultural Association (WSAA)

World Sustainable Agriculture Association was established in 1991 and is a non profit organisation which is governed by the Board of Directors from seven countries. It works with a prime goal of advancing sustainable farming, food distribution, consumption and bio-cycling systems throughout the world. It helps in improving local and regional food security by promoting such systems and public policies in a economically, socially & environment friendly executable way.

WSAA performs various activities in US, India, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia, and Beijing Agricultural University. To support sustainable agriculture, WSAA's staff is providing more educational and advisory services to govern mental agencies & organizations in central and eastern Europe and Latin America countries. It supports and improves the work of other public or private organizations who encourage sustainable agriculture all across the world.

WSAA has branches in different countries and its activities also vary from country to country. It provides services such as researching and demonstrating farms, educational programs, assistance to farmers in transition to sustainable farming systems, and information transfer by publications and electronic network. WSAA encourages to implement sustainable agriculture and provisions for food security.
